Not too much of experience with GPS. But yeah in Delhi it works very well and SanjayGPS is being there for almost 3 years or so. Did laid my hands of a GPS device, but it was a Marine GPS, so it works well on road/terrace (I meant it doesnt work well inside the building :(
Well did put it once in the car to check where-all the 'driver' roams around after dropping off the Saab ;) Also I recently got hold of a Compact Flash based GPS cum GPRS device which works with a GSM sim card. Yet not tried anything on it. (The driver which has come alongwith is for PocketPC only) Rajesh NB: Excuse me for the delay, have been travelling last week. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Joydeep Bakshi" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Saturday, March 01, 2003 11:40 AM Subject: Re: [ilug-cal] GPS in LINUX & INDIA ? > On Friday 28 February 2003 4:07am, Kaushik Ghose wrote: > > I don't know how useful GPS is at home, but I can see some one using it on > > a laptop. > > that's right.
