Dear Friends,
This is a lovely idea. We had also a similar idea in the past; however, it did
not materialise as some accounting problems seems to have sprung up. Please refer to
Indra/Darshan/Arup for clearer details.
However, it is absolutely necessary that we should have a fund to support ---
as you have said FSF, but more generally our work related to propagation. Say, for a
library (not an e-library), or a stock of s/w, or materials often required for
ILUG-CAL presentation. But, shall I propose something : why do you not think in terms
of a registered society (are there any contradictions ?? I am unaware, please
enlighten me), and then much of this can be handled much more smoothly.
