Dear Friends,

I had to put forward my opinion, as I see a flame war starting just now on
this issue.

I hope it is seeming of goodness to distinguish between "wish" and "lust",
between "freedom" and "wanton". I also hope that we shall not draw any further lines
to demarcate them...

The list is surely to discuss issues, and even matters related to security of
the system. There is no bar on any discussion. However, it is a matter of concern too
to be reminded that this should in all good sense be not utilised for ulterior
purposes.

The existence of Forensic Institute is not to provoke methods of doing crime,
but to probe and develop methods of probing into how crime works and how does one
detect the committance of a crime. The two are different; but, usage of this knowledge
for provocation of crime leads to serious consequences, as you all must know.

And I think the List Admin DOES have a right to remind the people of this
consequences. This is not at all harming any intentions.

There are many answers to this. However, I shall only say that~: you learn to
defend yourself by defending yourself, and then on looking through that FM. Nothing
more is required, and indeed not a whisper even. Admins know how to get at it, and not
any more.

Hoping that this shall not flare up into a flame war. Discussion SHOULD remain
at the level of discussions, and that is where it should end.

        Thanking you,
