there are always difficulties .. with the too much liberty .. that the eMail paradigm provides i've seen it in sooo many lists all over the world .. only one list i know is really bereft of this kind of freedom being rampantly misused .. altho there are some jabs now and then in that list too ! humans are similar all over the place .. in THAT single good list too .. a female doctor in france has similar problems with males joking about females .. and the males are from germany, france, usa, uk, india, south africa, canada, etc. .. and then there are jabs at each other now and then .. strangely they leave no bitter feelings .. because ultimately the raison de etre (reason of existing) of that list pulls them back to being nice, friendly, helpful, co-operative, decent i am 51 years old .. maybe knowing ages of other members will help other members to respect their maturity or tolerate the immaturity .. kids need to be guided .. elderly need to be handled propely its strange that at real world meets .. all of us take more than normal care to be proper and nice .. and the same people become less than normal proper and sometimes downright vicious .. in their emails ! i ascribe this fault to the unfettered freedom to pound our keyboards and send emails without restraint .. even THAT restraint which people exercise in face to face meetings becomes absolutely absent .. it IS strange .. but i see it happen in sooo many lists .. So !!! its not anyone's fault .. its the design of this thing .. its too much unfettered freedom hence we all need to exercise a lot of restraint (me too :-D !! ) so, please do me a himalayan favour .. and allow me do this : i say .. sorry for the improper contents of emails, friends please overlook and try to forget too i say this .. on behalf of all who have done this wrong i say this .. to all who feel they have been wronged each to his own .. interpret in whatever way you want those elder to me may shower their forgiveness to a younger brother those younger to me may please tolerate the "idealistic" acts of an elder brother so !
