Well, you aren't far off the mark... several LUGs in UK do meet in the pubs...
in fact, back in our early days we often used the 1st floor tables of Dreamland
Cafe near the Park Street + Rafi Ahmed X-ing as our failover venue/post-meet
watering hole....

We become so much known there that we were no asked to get up from the tables as
long as we kept ordering something -- mostly cups of coffee and the shared
plates of pakoras... not all members would order at once in the entire group..
some went ahead and ordered, once their cups/plates were empty the others left
behind wud order... and we wud daisy chain our orders in overlapping fashion and
make our presence there valid... :-D

Well... my office in Naktala isn't available! So stop worrying urself! ;-)

IISWBM will be around weekends, that much I can confirm!

As for Asutosh, the dates are yet undecided... and let me remind the members
here --> the LUG's *not* the principle entity here AC is. In fact, how that
colloboration would take place is yet to be worked out -- I have only pledged
our provisional support to the event, based on what is required and the scope.

The purpose of my meeting with Prof Mahapatra was to gauge what is it exactly
that AC is looking from us, and how we can use this event towards the LUG's
advantage in spreading Linux around.

Lake Gardens... hmmm... will that conf room hold over 15 ppl...? forget 40 who
were in attendance the last meeting!
