Hi all,

A Bill has been placed before the Texas (USA) State Senate by senator John
Corona, asking the TX govt to consider OSS and Open Standards while considering
purchase of software by the state govt. Incidentally the state of Texas is
facing a budget crisis, and if the Bill is passed, it will help the state to
save a lot of money.
