I have enquired further in this regard. RHL 8.0 comes with XFree86 4.1.x and
Mandrake 9.0 ships with XFree86 4.2.x. But as per GNU/XFree86 report Version
4.3.0 contains graphic driver of Intel 845GLLY chipset. Prior to this KDE
assumes it as a VESA generic driver. Hence it is working in such a way. I am
already downloading XFree86 4.3.0 and found from RH list that it is working
well with Intel 845GLLY chipset without any error given below.
