i used the following command...
GRANT ...
-> ON test
-> TO root@"%.localhost.com"
-> IDENTIFIED BY 'avik';
my root password is " password"
.. now i am getting an error of "permission
denied " when i
try to acccess from the root using the password
"password"
how can i get the mysql prompt from the root?
what do i do..to make things work again..
