I have installed the Fedora core from LFY - there was one wierd thing that I noticed. I have two CDROM drives - one being a 4 year old Samsung 52x plain vanilla, the second being a 1.5 year old Samsung CD writer. The CD failed to boot from the CD writer, though, strangely enough, it worked fine from the older 52x plain vanilla. Maybe you are experiencing something like this ?? By the way, the Fedora core disks have an option that let's you check whether the CDs are OK before proceeding with the install. Dunno if the boot from floppy stuff allows you to do this. -sdg- -- Sayamindu Dasgupta [http://clai.net/sayamindu] Free Software: the Software by the People, of the People and for the People.
