as far as i could make out, mandar was not praising IE. he just stated the fact that online banking with standard chartered doesn't work with anything other than IE. he never said IE was the best. if anything, i think he was being critical of standard chartered's website. and in any case, if he feels IE is technologically the best existing browser, he has every right to say so in any forum (it is another question whether that would make us doubt his sanity :-). we do FLOSS not entirely because it is technically superior, but also because it is Free. in fact this is the main reason for me, and for many others on this list i believe. even if opera or IE were really technically superior to firefox (which they aren't), i would still use firefox because i treasure the freedom it gives me. - t. -- cogito, ergo es. -- To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the body "unsubscribe ilug-cal" and an empty subject line.
