I have untarred OOo v1.1.4 and, as root, run the script

ordinary user, OOo is trying to do a full install in my home directory.
What's wrong?

I don't think anything is wrong. setup -net installs the "workstation version". You still need to do a per user installation in order to run OOo. The per user install isn't really a full install, it only installs the user specific files, and sets up some symlinks.

Didn't you have the same experience with 1.1.3 (or older)?

mandar.

Thanks, I found out what I was doing wrong. After the main installation,
each user has to do a "network" installation, which I was not doing. The
problem occurred because I could not read the .pdf file that contains
the setup guide.

This is my first experience with OOo.

Good wishes,
