Wow, they really dont work now!  This is crazy!  Somehow, I remember
using them ages ago.  Either my memorys gone corrupt or they messed
this up in some recent version.
Anyhow, its already filed as a bug and seems to have been adressed.

One of the comments there-

Workaround:  edit localstore.rdf in the profile directory:
 <RDF:Description RDF:about="chrome://global/content/viewSource.xul#main-window"
                   sizemode="normal"
                   height="768"
                   width="1024"

                   screenY="0" />

Of course, one may now write a bash script to take in the command line
options and launch firefox, but this is pretty stupid to begin with!
