Hi, Does this mean if I go for a 2Mbps line for my business then also i will get the 30-80 kbps or it will increase to somewhat around 120-300 kbps
and for this speed paying the cost of 2MBPS line , that is a sham!! Or maybe I should go for a 512 Kbps line and then later upgrade it if i find good reports of BSNL DATA1 I was also reading on this list that on normal telephone copper wire MBPS speeds are not practically feasible, so how come BSNL is claiming that they will provide 1-2 MBPS lines Are they cheating us or do they know something that we ILUGians dont ? Any help and comment on this issue will be appreciated regards vivek kedia --- linuxprosun <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > On Sat, 19 Feb 2005 17:18:50 +0530, Ashwin Mansinghka <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > wrote: > > >> It started on Alipore and Behala, daytime the download is around 30kbps > >> and at night time it is around 80kbps, never 256kbps. > > > > How true is this ? > > > > What explanations (excuses) has been offered by BSNL for such a dismal > > performance ? > > > > In your place I would feel cheated. > > I also feel cheated. > > > with Regards, > > ASHWIN > > > > > > > > > > -- > Using M2, Opera's revolutionary e-mail client: http://www.opera.com/m2/ > > -- > To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the body > "unsubscribe ilug-cal" and an empty subject line. > FAQ: http://www.ilug-cal.org/node.php?id=3 > __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
