Hi Niraj, I have never seen Mandrake, but I can perhaps help you brute force things through if you post whats in your /etc/X11/xorg.conf or /etc/X11/Xfree86 file? [[Just open any text editor, and open that file the way you would in notepad! Remember, instead of "C:\" you have just a "/" in Linux as the top most directory, and instead of a '\' use '/']]
Or else, I think there's something called a Mandrake Control Centre (MCC) somewhere in the menu. Try telling mandrake its a serial mouse in the MCC Hardware tab http://images.mandrakesoft.com/img/10.1/s5.png and ask it to allow root logins in Securiy - System Options http://images.mandrakesoft.com/img/10.1/s7.png Hope this helps, Anshul On Wed, 23 Feb 2005 13:20:32 +0530, Niraj Kumar Vinit <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Hello friends > Yesterday I installed Mandrake Linux 10.1 (3 CD SET) on my computer.
