The question arises because we are not
functioning as a user group.
Only outreach and exhibition participation is not our
primary objective. Its only an additional activity.
Out primary activity is meeting at some place
where people of common interests come together and
discuss
problems, show exciting things. etc.
We tell people in exhibitions that we hold such
meetings regularly (or
do we ? - we question ourselves honestly).
We tell people that all events are posted on website.
(or is it updated ?
to be honest - Not).
Niether experts nor new comers are ganing anything out
of the meetings.
So, if we are not doing our primary activity properly
then there is no
point in doing only seminars/exhibitions/etc).
I think there is a dire need for a *regular typical
lug meeting* .
I would request all members to think it over.
Does it make sense to only participate in events when
we dont have
time for meetings even once a month ?
First lets actually do what we claim to do ... flock
together in meetings, discuss linux, etc...
