since this is the second time a senior has raised the concern, one can't keep mum over the issue.
what i could see from the URL is, the archive is containing our mails from 18th March. during that time some members received mails requesting re-post to the list toward confirmation of no spam. some did so thinking it a new policy of the list and some raised their concerns. list admin may like shade some light here. the site (www.ilug-cal.org) pointer to the yahoo group should immediately be removed. i don't know why the list, containing lots of spams still exists ! things are bad enough to confuse anyone. --hizibiz On Sun, 3 Apr 2005, pk wrote: > this information from prem got no replies either ! > > > > > Found one more ... > http://news.gmane.org/gmane.user%2dgroups.linux.kolkata > > it HAS to be someone from this list ! > > will the person please own up the responsibility > so that we are sure that we haven't been 'hijacked' ! > > ..pi I > > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Prem" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > To: <[email protected]> > Sent: Sunday, March 27, 2005 7:40 PM > > > > I dont think it has been answered ...
