Hi list,
I have faced a very strange problem in *Xcdroast*. I have downloaded the source code and successfully compiled in RH enterprise linux. burned a cd ( multisession mode ) 10 times without any prob. still the cd had 200MB free space. now at 11th time after burning the cd in multisession mode with a 10MB file whenever I execute

$] mount /mnt/cdrom

it shows as below
-----------------------------------------------------
Unable to read rock-ridge attributes
ISOFS: unable to read i-node block
-----------------------------------------------------

now this is more than enough to indicate that there is some thing very serious ( i-node ). but is there *any way* to recover the existing data from cd ? Xcdroast is showing total eleven data tracks and the 11th track has size 0MB. but mount can't mount the cd. any suggestion to recover the data ?

thanks in advanced.

If you arrived at the free space figure of 200 MB by just adding up the sizes of the files you had put on the CD in the first 10 recording sessions, then you got too high a figure. In a multi-session CD some space is lost to overheads at every session; this space is of the order of several kilobytes. It may be that the 11th session ran out of space.
