Sorry, for butting in, but the above post tickled my interest. By the
absence of any other post expressing sympathies, I assume that not many
people feel that the site going offline is a great loss. Can the original
poster please clarify his statements ?
Besides, the site itself makes a very lame excuse for going offline. Dial-up
internet connectivity isn't a very commonplace thing in India, leave alone
broadband internet. If they were really in the business of selling CDs of
distros, they'd still be around. I personally have burned CDs for so many of
my classmates. I believe that the site maintainers were unable to continue
supporting the site and took the earliest oppurtunity to take it down.
