Hi, As far as I know, BSNL's broadband service is given using PPPoE. It is quite easy to configure pppoe using adsl-set script.
Use "adsl-setup" to configure the pppoe connection and then use adsl-start to start the dialup. BTW, you do not need to worry about your phone bill as pppoe service is independent of phone call rates. - Archan On 6/3/05, Saumik Chaudhuri <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > I face a problem with my new broad band connection from BSNL. > I have a 256 kbps line. When I want to configure connection in > linux(I've mandrake linux 10.1 kernel version 2.6.8 ),I see there is > no 'bsnl' ISP .But if I choose any other ISP and set my connection > using bsnl user name and password, the connection works.
