Hi all
There is a better way to hadle a DSL modem / router.
Configure the modem itself. Use your browser to configure the modem.
Turn on the modem fire you browser and connect to 192.168.1.1 now
login with admin and utstar. Now go to LAN config there will be some
existing connection remove them all.
Add a new connection. The connecton type should be PPPOE. Put
your user name and password also put VPI and VCI value as 0 and 30
respectively.
Now from tools--> system command save the configuration. Now every
time you power up your modem it will connect to internet
automatically. Also enable the dhcp clent of your machine and use
61.1.96.69 as primary nameserver and 61.1.96.71 as secondary name
server.

Masjid dha de, mandir dha de, dha de jo kucch dainda
Par kisi da dil na dhain, Rab dilan vich rehnda..
English
Tear down the mosque and the temple; break everything in sight
But do not break a person's heart, it is there that God resides
