a friend of mine has been trying hard to find out which scanner he
should buy for his gnu/linux desktop.
unfortunately, no item from the compatibility list on the SANE website
seem to be available in calcutta.
i would like to hear some (hopefully recent) success stories (if any) in
this regard, including model number, price, etc.
