It is better to use prepaid 1-yr plans. Cost-wise it is the best...vsnl has become too bad. So far no problems. The best part is it is unlimited downloads in the night (august 16th onwards)... For DSL connections asking for customer support is like asking for help in using a telephone. They have improved their support mechanism for line problems.
