SIPL (Saltlake Infosolutions Pvt. Ltd.) is recruiting technical and marketing/sales professionals for its Kolkata office. We are looking to fill the following positions:
1)Software Engineer: 0-2 yrs. 2)Senior Software Engineer: 3-5 yrs. 3)Project Lead/Team Lead: 4+ years 4)Marketing Executive For Marketing positions, experience (1+ yrs.) with Marketing of software products and services is a requirement. Candidates with MBA will be preferred. For technical positions, a solid understanding of Computer Science fundamentals is a must. The qualification required is BTech/MCA/MTech. For fresh engineering graduates, the stream must be Computer Science or Electrical/Electronics Engineering. Experienced professionals can be from any Engineering field. Technical professionals with experience in Linux platform will be preferred. We are looking for developers with the following skills: a)C/C++ development - Familiarity with gcc and gdb is required. Experience with UI development (and understanding of X) is preferred, though not a prerequisite. b)Java/J2EE development - The candidate should have a good understanding of the Java language. Familiarity with a Java Application Server (e.g. JBoss) is preferred. c)Experience with writing Linux Device Drivers. Good knowledge of Linux Kernel Internals. d)Web Applications and scripting - Thorough understanding and experience with LAMP technologies. If you have a good understanding of the architecture of a large Open Source project (e.g. SugarCRM) and have contributed to development of such projects, that will be a huge plus.
