whenever we are dealing with public money, we need to be extremely
careful. LUG is not a registered body under Society Registration Act (as
far as my knowledge goes).

Managing fund, organising regular projects with its aid is difficult in
such organisations. blame, fame and flame almost in all cases goes to
individuals instead of the organization.

we have to look for free entries in COMPASS as well as in JU seminar hall.
we won't be selling anything anywhere ! COMPASS should be convinced about
the objectives of us.

sharmaji's point was perhaps based on the basic notion that visitors to
COMPASS are important for spreading of Linux, both in number and in
decision making. 'catch them young' should work 'in situ' as was rightly
said by RMS in his discussion with the Govt. of WB.
