oh! don't toast me. its a joke.
i think you are expected to use a proxy server which is detected
autometically by windows. but on linux you have to configure it manually
for each client application seperately. you can ask your lan
administrator for the address of that proxy server and set it
accordingly in firefox browsers preference.
