Hi all,

I have submitted the below as an article in Slashdot.org<http://Slashdot.or=
g>,=20
but since I dont know if it will be accepted I am posting it for you all:

[0]Mark Shuttleworth of [1]Ubuntu fame has sent in an email as an invitatio=
n=20
to the community to help Ubuntu tackle Windows Vista headon with its next=
=20
version (after [2]Breezy Badger).
He says, "Ubuntu 6.04(ish) will be special, because as a community we are=
=20
going to commit to supporting it for 3 years on the desktop, and 5 years on=
=20
the server."
He calls all Ubuntu members to arms saying, "It's 6.04 that will be up=20
against Windows Vista, so let's make it a zinger and give folks a real=20
choice."
I guess he wants to help the corporate to plan their migration from Windows=
=20
to Ubuntu well before hand.
"It will be a release that people can plan for, participate in and build=20
solutions on top of."
He claims that "it will get even more polish than we put into Breezy" and=
=20
"so, after much deliberation, it has been decided that 6.04 will be known=
=20
during development as: The Dapper Drake ". It is a "name that reflects that=
=20
polish."

I spent a minute looking at my own code by accident.
I was thinking "What the hell is this guy doing?"
