Sankarshan and others,

The ListAdmin (can we start calling him Indranil now? :-) is certainly
not required to respond. The "LUG" is, (whoever or whatever it is) if
it believes that meetings are necessary and a lack of premises is what
prevents the meetings from being held.

Also, sorry for the nit-picking, but when you say: "populate the
LUG/that LUG." I just want to point out that there's no "that LUG". As
for "this LUG", it is an elusive entity because no one seems to be
able to speak for it. (The one concrete entity is the List Admin - as
evidenced by the mails and action from him).

You also say " take up the offer - if that turns out to be the best
step ...". I'm sure you don't believe that having LUG meetings may not
be the right step?

Also, to clarify, when I made that offer of premises, it was to
ILUG-Cal of which I believe I am a member by virtue of being on the
mailing list (and not to any other LUG).

Will the real ILUG-Cal speak up and get rid of all the confusion?
