I am using AMD64 3000+ with MSI mobo and SATA HDD. Never tried with
Fedora, but Debian Sarge (PCQuest), Ubuntu Hoary, Ubuntu Breezy have
been installed and running avsolutely without any problems. I have even
tried Knoppix, Puppy, DSL and some others with equal success. With WinXP
I had a problem that SATA driver was on a floppy and I did not have a
drive.

HTH,
