I would dare say that point them to Mozilla or GNOME/KDE/XFCE/<insert
your rah rah Desktop Environment> Bugzilla(s) and ask them to take care
of the bugs that can be easily resolved or at least let them begin by
Bug Triaging.

Putting projects like iLUG Calendar (good as they are) will only result
in them facing a session where someone asks *but what in heaven's name
will it do*
