I have a similar problem, but I use Poseidon (based on Ubuntu 8.04) and wireless. The connection is often dropped and I have to restart networking. Sometimes, the signal is 95% or more, but my login page does not appear. On such occasions, I have to reboot. Most interestingly, for some time I have a person here who uses a Windows laptop. He is unable to connect until I connect! Very strange. Best -- V.
