Asianet has recently changed some of their servers and subsequently the IP addresses are also changed. I got this information from ADL Kochi office. The login issues in my connection was resolved when I changed the IP address(10.x.x.x changed to 202.x.x.x) if the client login page . Contact ADL Customer Centre to know the correct IP address.
But the connection drop out is frequent nowadays. I tried to get the help from the customer care, but they never responded. However, I have found that NetworkManager on my desktop(Fedora 10) is ignoring one of the 4 nameserver addresses provided by Asianet. (By default, NetworkManager will handle only 3 nameserver address). A temporary workaround is to move the ignored Ip to the top of the list. I don't exactly remember the IPs.
