Guys try this

   1. Close all firefox browsers
   2. open a Terminal
   3. enter the following
          $> *for f in ~./mozilla/firefox/*/*.sqlite;do sqlite3 $f
'VACUUM;';done*

Run your browser again and check whether the issue is solved or not.
