Hi, Let me clarify a few points: 1) Using ASP may not be against our IT policy- its just a scripting language. But it is an indicator that the server is an IIS running on a windoze server. Isn't that against our IT policy of favouring FOSS?
2) The site has 2 parts: i) The home part that is hosted in Canada with IP addr: 216.55.97.83. Its HTTP header names its server as: "Apache/1.3.41 (Unix) PHP/4.4.4 mod_ssl/2.8.31 OpenSSL/0.9.8g" ii) A part that deals with student info, registration etc (http:// kucc.keralauniversity.edu). This is our controversial subject. It is hosted in India (NIB) with IP addr: 210.212.239.17. Its HTTP header names its server as: "Microsoft-IIS/6.0" Its not possible to entirely believe these information, since it is possible to spoof server info. It can be concluded only on the basis of other clues. But atleast in this case, the info seems reliable.
