Hi, I agree a lot with the messages above. Subscription to this mailing list is the only thing that defines membership in FSUG-TVM. Unsubscribing from it is much like saying you are resigning from the group! Perhaps, we shouldn't suggest that solution at all. Just suggest the alternatives.
The filters suggestion is a good one. There is also a Gmail filter directly available from Gmail settings. Labs features are in alpha/ beta and they may break sometimes. Another option (especially from non- gmail users) is to edit the membership to receive no messages at all (like what I did). The option is available on the right column in this group. The only side-effect is that active members may suffer anxiety attack if they don't check this group every 3 hours!
