All, The current moderators have been doing only that : i.e) "we need to moderate only spam mails. When a new member posts relevant mails, he should be taken out of moderation (assuming new members are moderated) immediately."
The thing is we do not read through each and every mail that someone posts on the list. If someone can do that , and then stop an unruly thread by replying properly to it, that would be enough. There is no need for that person to take on the moderation job then.
