this is my desktop configuration 256 SD-ram 1GHz Intel celeron processor 1 GB swap 40GB PATTA HD
i had tried ubuntu 7.10 to 9.04; in 9.04 i tried to settings 1. default installation 2. window manager -pekwm menu+pannel- fbpannel file manager- pcmanfm now i installed gNewSense2.2(deltah). it much faster than all the above installation, and have cool good look too. can any body say why it so? i think the reason is, it has less number of pre-installed drivers. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ "Freedom is the only law".
