*" Guilty as charged. I like KDE and like Sebin I use KDE 4.3.1 on an Arch Linux system. I find it very tightly integrated"* - Said Ashik Salahudeen on Sep 5* * Well, i like to give a try ;) Successfully installed Arch base today. Next step is to install KDE 4.3.1 but downloading them in dial up is something impossible due to frequent disconnection. This<http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=232553>page in Arch wiki explains how to install KDE offline and how to get the list of files to be downloaded. Please help me to solve the following issues :
1. Could you please tell me what is the total size of KDE 4.3.1 binary packages ? 2. Is there any alternate offline way to install KDE ?? (i could get the packages from my friends if i get the list) 3. Do you have a back up of Arch KDE 4.3.1 packages & Xorg so that i could get as a whole from net via friends. At present, due to the absence of wvdial & depended packages, i couldn't connect to web from Arch. Please guide me to get a tightly Integrated system as Mr.Ashik says.. Thank you.
