I have Windows XP Pro on my PC. I installed Ubuntu 9.04 on a separate
HDD (internal drive h, retrofitted). During installation i was asked
where to intall boot loader and i selected "drive C" where XP
currently is.

Now when I turn on the PC, I have to select between
    a)Ubuntu
    b)Ubuntu (restore mode)
    c)Windows XP

Problem: If I select XP , it again asks which one to boot, over
and over (loop).

On contrary, both "Ubuntu" and "Ubuntu (restore mode)" boot with
no problem.

Please share your expertise if you have any solution
