Hi, After the last upgrade of my system, my Malayalam Keyboard is not functioning. No problem with Malayalam display though.
OS: Arch linux, Desktop environment: KDEmod 4.3.2 (Ashik had packaged Malayalam for Arch linux. Probably, he could answer, I suppose) I checked System settings > Regional and Language > Keyboard layout. Here is the error message displayed: Cannot load library /usr/lib/kde4/kcm_keyboard_layout.so: > (libxklavier.so.12: cannot open shared object file: No such file or > directory) > > Possible reasons: > > An error occured during your last KDE upgrade leaving an orphaned control > module > You have old third party modules lying around > > Check these points carefully and try to remove the module mentioned in the > error message. If this fails, consider contacting your distributor or > packager. > Now the problem is that, as my /var partition was filled, I had cleared the pacman cache yesterday and so downgrade is not possible. Also, Udev is taking more time to load during boot. - Sebin -- Understanding is a three-edged sword: your side, their side, and the truth --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ "Freedom is the only law".
