Get the details of your graphics chipset by typing "inxi -xG" in a
terminal.
When you post something related to h/w it is much helpful if you
attach
the complete h/w details. So please append the output of the command
"dmidecode".
-- Try using safe graphics mode.
-- Try appending "pci=nommconf" to /boot/grub/menu.lst
-- If its not working try adding "acpi=off noapic" as kernel parameter
when reinstalling the system.
Hope this will solve your proble.
