There is no year-marked releases for archlinux. It is a rolling release
distro. Arch linux allow users to tailor their system according to users'
choice. So if you want to install GRUB2, you can. Here is the tutorial:

The best thing with a rolling release is, you can easily roll back to your
previous system state, if you don't need the changes you have made. This is
not about configuration though. Reconfiguration should be done manually. I
am just telling about downgrading.
