There are two GUI ways...I think the first one is the simplest....

   1. Using debian based NetworkManagerApplet (
   http://projects.gnome.org/NetworkManager/ )
      1. Open Network Connections Window
      2. Go to Mobile Broadband Tab
      3. Press Add
      4. A configuration window appears. Select country and service provider
      ( IDEA Cellular )
      5. Press Apply. Now a broad band template is created.
      6. Select the connection and press Edit in the parent window.
      7. Since It is GSM Number = *99# Username = <username you have>
      Password = <password you have>
      8. In IPv4 settings select Automatic (PPP)
      9. Done Click on the wireless connection in the pop up window of the
net.man.applet. In 2-3 seconds you are connected.
   2. Using GNOME PPP
      1. Type username & password
      2. Press setup and detect device (modem) in that window.
      3. Type is usb modem.
      4. Phone number = *99# And initstring2 = ATQ0 V1 E1 S0=0 &C1 &D2
      +FCLASS=0
      5. Leave the rest as defaults works fine.
      6. In the parent window press connect and you are done.

In my experience gnome-ppp is a slight faster. But gnome-ppp sometimes needs
run from terminal as sudo :(

Regards to all....
Keep all of us updated from your experience....
