Same problem happened with 2 of my friends' system. They first used my own disk (worked perfectly for me & 5 others) and then their disks, the problem occurred in both cases. Well one of them fixed it with bit of cleaning the RAM. For the other the problem is still there. I don't think the disk got corrupted after repeated usage, because the disk worked even on the latest attempt. @ Vimal Anyway its better to check the CD against md5 checksum as Subin said.
