Ya. F-spot has challengers. It lacks the speed and editing integration.
Actually they are removing many unused programs. That's why "xchat" is not
in Karmic!

Also, another major change is the replacement of Usplash with Plymouth(which
is the default boot manager in Fedora). But, unfortunately it has many
issues with Nvidia display cards. I think non-Intel users will lose out!
