In one of my friends desktop which had dual OS (ubuntu and windows), due to some problem in windows XP, its not working. But the ubuntu was working ok. Now after some months he is not able to use the ubuntu drives. That is, he is not able to mount the drives. Now he wants clear everything in his computer and install linux completely. Can anybody help because there is also some problem in his CD-DVD drive.
Is it fine if i try to boot from a ubuntu CD so that it will install over all other previous installations? -- "Freedom is the only law".
