Thank you etta, Now, Network Manager in Fedora is not even recognizing the 
modem. 'lsusb' shows the phone model attached. Last time, I also got connected 
with wvdial, but the problem was there. It's working fine in Ubuntu and 
Sabayon.

I tried this command as root, it does restart the applet but i couldn't 
resolve any host.
