No no, I'm talking about incoming ports. You can check a particular port is
open or not in some bit-torrent clients. Ports 0-1024 (I remember so)  are
reserved and some ports like 8080 are used for special purposes. ( I'm not a
geek, so don't ask me why...! ). Use a random port less than 65000 and check
if it is open. You need to learn something called port forwarding to do this
manually.
And all the geeks and hackers belong to this group are busy with mail wars.
Thats why a stupid user like me tried to fix your problem. I don't know much
about computer networks at all... :-)
