I am a new member to this group. Would like to know : 1) which laptop is most Ubuntu / Free software friendly ? I just bought a Toshiba satellite model specifically asking for one that would work on Linux but it would load only Ubuntu 10.4 and now there is a bluetooth mouse that i purchased with it which does not work as there are no drivers. 2) Which computer shops in Trivandrum are most friendly to customers who use Linux ? 3) I would like to attend your next meeting so could you please send a confirmation about date and time soon as I have to plan a few days in advance.
