Folks, I was running Windows 7 on my desktop and has been pretty much in distress with it. Some friends were encouraging enough to praise Linux to such an extent that I subsequently installed Ubuntu 10.04 LTS. But I am still having to run windows, as my networking ability has been hampered. I do not know how to fix this issue. Linux is a totally new ball park for me. Call me a dimwit about it and I would only meekly accept the call.
I was using a 54 Mbps MicroNEXT MN-WD546J wireless USB (2.0) adapter. I am finding it impossible to get connected to the internet using this device. I tried other help forums over the net and tried out various methods explained, but unsuccessfully!! Hope I get help from this forum. Cheers, me -- "Freedom is the only law".
