Hi,
I am Nikhil and I attended the meeting referred to by Prakreet. I
want to make a clarification - I DO NOT work for Microsoft.
I do however develop using Microsoft.Net during my day job which
is at a financial product development company.
So please do not curse me to burn in eternal hellfire (just
kidding) :-) You can argue, that it is the same thing, in which case
go ahead :-)

I enjoyed the meeting - I learned a lot from some of the attendees
about their experiences in using computers to navigate while visually
challenged. One of the suggestion given by Mr. James was to keep an
eye out for techniques and even think of original ideas that can be
used to improve the experience of using computers for the visually
challenged. These may be forwarded to Mr. James at INSIGHT (contact
details - http://insight.kerala.gov.in/contact-us/)

I also liked the presentation from Mr. Dhananjay on Arduino. A
question was raised regarding robotics toolkits so I thought I'd point
to this link (http://technikhil.posterous.com/microsofts-latest-move-
in-the-robotics-indust) for those who are interested. Overall, the
presentation was great though I felt we veered off into electronics
instead of the agenda which was on programming the Arduino - this was
not Dhananjay's fault but mine since I was responsible for a lot of
the silly questions that led to this :-)

Thanks again - I had a great time.

- Nikhil
